I need the wiring diagram for the wires that enter the clip. I've looked thru all the posts in the elec section but didn't see anything to my specific problem. My clip has 16 spots & I have 9 wires coming out of the harness to it. schematics, picture, drawn in cayon, i don't care anything at this point would help.

I'm confused.

Are you replacing the connector? If so, cut one wire at a time and replace to the same cavity of the new connector.

Meanwhile, you are really asking that someone with a 95 FSM post up the cavity, wire color and description. We'll see if we can round up someone with a 95 book.

b-oost, thanx for your quick reply. I inherited this job from my daughter. Her boyfriend pulled all the wires out of the melted connector, went to the junkyard, found a good connector, pulled all the wires out of that and brought it home to install. I guess it never crossed his mind to mark the wires, write down the order, take a picture.... nothin.
So, what you described is exactly what I need. I've got my fingers crossed.
Thanx again Steve

Steve...Do yourself a huge favor...get a 96-99 switch. There was something in the 95 switches that would heat up the connector and switch.

I'll second that motion. Mine is going also (on my 95, not the other green bonneville).

No. I have a 95 switch. No biggie though. I'll fix it after the Zilla comes back on the road, and replace my harness too (gotta go butcher one at the wrecker).
