You will need more than just 2 wires to make that mirror work. Here are the ones that I know of:

Power
Ground
Reverse input (turns dim feature off when in reverse for clearer viewing)
Temp sensor input (unless the sensor is actually inside the mirror and reads the mirror mount for temp readings, though I would think that would be a little misleading)

R&R from the windshield. I can't remember if it is a phillips, torx, or interal hex set screw. Lift up to remove the mirror from the metal foot, and reverse to intsall it.

Once all wires are traced and connected, it'* a simple 2 minute job...unless the whole mirror pops off, then you will need some of that mirror glue....

you will need the temp sensor and will need to locate that elsewhere on the vehicle and run the wire to the mirror. The dimming would also need to be tapped.

The Compass is self contained I believe.

If you are interested, I have a Compass mirror that should work. Need to get the wiring harness connector from my GF'* car though.
