keyless remote stopped working??
my keyless entry thing has been working fine but all of a sudden it refuses to lock/unlock the doors or open the trunk. the horn (panic) button works, so i know its not the battery. i tried reprogramming it and it still will only honk the horn. is there a fuse somewhere that i should check? if so, where is it located? i thought it was the battery that was dead, i took it into radioshack, they tested it and said its fine. whats going on ? thanks guys

update: i just got it fixed. i had to reprogram it again, and this time it worked. i was following the guide for the 95 keyless entry instead of the one for the OBDII cars. any idea why this would have happened though? very strange.

This is easily explained. The reason most electronics are in black or silver boxes is tht there'* a tinly little person in there. Their job is to every so often just change something so that it has to be reset, reprogrammed, or whatever. So, when the mood strikes them, they reach over to their little bank of switches and throw one. Simple as thet...
Seriously, tho, it could have been almost anything. Power fluctuation, static electricity, whatever....
