I just noticed that my rad fans aren't coming on... the temperature outside here is cool enough that I'm not worried about overheating yet.. but this could be a problem in a few months..

I also noticed that the fuse socket in the fuse panel is melted... could this just be the temperature sensor being pooched and blowing the fuse? I'm not sure of what size fuse was in it, as the fuse was not in the panel when I noticed all this... (fyi, I just bought the car 2 weeks ago, and am still going through it finding all the little problems, and hopefully no big ones.. ) I am going to replace the fuse panel, and am wondering if it could be the temp sensor that is mounted on the block...

It could be a number of things. The melted socket could be a simple case of slight corrosion causing resistance. I've seen many fuses pulled out of bonnevilles that are burn looking on the tabs.

Before putting a new fuse in when you notice burnt tabs..I suggest a light coating of dielectric grease to ensure the contact do not corrode further.

Check the fan relays for proper operation, as well as the resistor on the fan itself. There should be one fan with a resistor.
