Stereo light out
I probably know the answer to this one, but have to ask anyway. When I picked the car up all the lights worked perfectly. Yesterday I noticed the left side of the stereo display looks like a light is out (you can barely read the radio station and info on the left side in the daytime). Has anyone ever had this issue and resolved it, or do I need to get an entire head unit?
Thanks in advance for any useful replies.

you can buy new bulbs for about 15 bucks online, but the only way to replace them is to tear the head unit apart and desolder the old ones from the circuit board and then solder the new ones in.

Sounds like its time for a Tech Info write up. I have the same issue with my 97, yet haven't gotten the chance to tear into to it. Hopefully Sat or first thing Sunday I can rip mine apart and do a write up.
