Default Starter Wires??

I got my switches on my dash, but i was befuddled by allt he wiring around the steering column...

I removed the black piece that spans the dash, then i dropped the hush panel. I saw 2 ribbons with about 6-10 wires apeiece, are those for the radio controls?

I also saw biger (10ga) wires ontop of the column going into a white harness and then to who knows where. If i'm doing the ignition switch, are THOSE the ones i need to tap into? God that'll suck to get in there to crimp... THe Maxifuse relay may be the easiest i think??

Cmon gearheads!!!!

Willwren wasn't much help on the phone, but he said anyone with a 93 factory manual could help more.

Still trying to make a new circuit for starting. I'd like to run it in paralell with the normal key start, so i can use either.

Wren wasn't much help on the phone, and i'm seeing a couple things that are making me confused, want me to take pix?

So you're making a push-button starter or something like that? Do you have Pass-key II?

OK, here we go...

The starter is activated by crossing the red wire from underhood fuse 2 with the yellow one. There are two red wires, you have to get the right one.

However, while that connection is momentary, you need to have a "Run" connection by having the red wire from the underhood fuse 2 cross with the pink and brown wires, and then the other red wire from underhood fuse 7 cross with the orange wire.

And then don't forget about the Pass Key.

If the key is in and on run, then no problem. What the hell are you doing?
