9006 to 9005 bulbs
Was just thinking wouldn't doing this conversion be easier if you just cut the oem 9006 plug off and replace it with a 9005 plug? instead of shaving the prongs of the 9005?

not only is the plug different, but also how the plug interacts with the headlamp. less than a min to mod a 9006 with a dremel

you mean the 9005. but that ok, cutting that upper tab in half is easier then also trying to cut out the two little guide tabs on the inner part of the bulb. (tried once and it didn't work to well)

you either grind 2 little tabs or find a replacement plug and move wires.
one way leaves your car stock, the other not.
6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other.
