Default I made a BIG boo boo

I was trying to hook up speakers that werent hooked up before and thye worked. No problem. I take the panel out to look at my radio to see what else needed hooking up and i se a wire that is for aftermerket use and i just messed everything up fro there. I took the wire and connected it to the back of the radio to see if it would make the speakers any louder, instead it blew the radio meaning it wont come on anymore but the fuse is still good. The gas gaue, oil gauge, boost gauge, temp gauge, DIC and Compass dont work neitehr does the speedo. The HUD works, interior lights work and the Compressor stays running and no air is coming out. Also the Electronice Climate Control isnt working. I get 3 dashes on the display and i cant get nothing else to work. HELP!!!

Myabe you blew the main fuse for the dash, did you use a after market wire harness for the bonnie or just splice into the original wires, if you used an after market harness the orange wire (illumination is not used) let me know the coluor wire that is was and maybe i can figure out what you did, i have put many aftermarket decks in my car and a couple of days ago i installed pioneer avic-n2 into my car so i have a harness on my lap to tell what is what

who ever had this car before me had used regular speaker wires for the aftermarket 6x9'* i guess and ran them from the rear to the front for the aftermarket radio. Now i have the factory Delco and i was fooling around with that wire. Its not orange thogh. its copper.

Steve....remember how you were impressed at B'fest by the guys using multimeters. It'* your turn. Talk to Kenn and ask him to help you pick out a reasonable one. Then you can test each fuse to find the one you blew. Or you could maybe try and skip it, read the owners manual on which things don't work and try to see which fuse it is.

Go multimeter man.. run with the big dogs.

Just don't master it through and through, otherwise you'll have to fix very bad problems like VATS not letting cars start....
