Default bulbs

I need to know the highest wattage bulb that will fit into my stock foglight. I have the GLASS lenses so I am not worried about melting or whatever. I think that 885 fit into the stock location

I think that someone put 885'* in but i forget are they just regular haolgen or are they silverstar

I hate the yellow look of the fogs with silverstar highs and lows

correct, Where did U get glass foglights though? I use to run 885'* until they started to melt my plastic light housing. and yes, silverstars are pure white I have 880'* in my foglight housing now and they display white not yellow, now as far as where U can get these partsforyourcar.com or ask for them at any local store that carries silver stars they don't have them on display (for some reason they have them behind the counter) I know 885'* cost a lil more than other lights so they might be a little more priced than lower wattage bulbs.

Now go get U a pair!

I ordered mine from www.sylvania.com
Mine stock were 880'* I tried some 893'* I had laying around from the Aurora and they did fit fine and were brighter put I have plastic and could feel major heat difference between the too. So I went with Angle Eyes, not much more than the cost of two silverstars. But I also agree that I hate the yellow fogs with silverstar lamps and had to get some silverstars for the angle eyes too. Much happpier with the all silverstar 4000K color output now.

The 893'* were 50watt by the way. Actual yellow/gold color from www.classicgarage.com

I don't know how much the SS 880s cost, but it might be just as cost effective to just replace the lights with aftermarkets. It'* been posted here many times, but the Cyberwhite Navigators go for about $40, tax included.

Just throwin' it out as an option....

opinion is noted Mos, again, Silverstars are usually avalible wherever the headlight bulbs are sold, ask for them because I didn't know Advanced carried them until I asked I don't know if thier going to stock them on shelves or leave them behind the desk (people have sticky fingers nowadays) but yea, just ask for a pair at ur local auto place usually Auto zone or Advanced Auto,

I first ordered a pair of 885'* but then I had a flashback of them melting my plastic so, I went with the 38 watt one insted.

I ran 50 watt bulbs in my stock lights before I replaced them with the Navigators. No melting.
