Headlight Voltage
I have an issue with my 05 SLE. My high beams are very bright at night and seem normal. My low beams are terrible. I tried a set of silverstars and those werre not any better. Whiter light, but no distance and dim. Does anyone know what voltage should be gettting to each headlight. Is it possible the ground(*) are bad? I am not a true mechanic, but I have a voltage tester and could re-ground wires if necessary. I have to do something, I have almost hit 2 deer in the past week because I could not see them on side of road. Thanks for help.

You should be seeing about 13volts D.C at the connector for your headlights...
