you need to run a jumper wire too or else the passenger high beam won't work if you are doing a DRL disable but since you are talking about a flash on the low beam I now assume you are talking about a 99 or older?

Ok, so I have a 2002 SSEi(as you can see in my sig). Do I need to buy anything other than the HID kit?

Ok, I have not a clue about HID upgrade kits. Would you happen to have a link so I know what you're talking about?

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

they are usually around $20-25 and just pull power from the battery to make the balasts last longer

Yep, the install will probably be about 45 minutes since this is your first time, just follow the instructions and if you have any questions ask around

45 minutes eh? I doubt that. While I've never done HID kits before, I am very good in the electrical department. Especially if things come with decent instructions.

Well you have to pull the housings, change the bulbs, be very careful not to touch the glass, then attach the relay harness to the fuse block lug and ground, run those wires out of the way, connect the balasts, mount them somewhere and connect everything together

first time you turn them on leave them on for about 15 minutes to break them in good, then don't flash them beacuse that will shorten the life of the balasts, and if you turn them on try to let them totally warm up (about a minute or so) before turning them back off
