Default Hard Restart

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site, But what i am wanting to find out is this. I own a 92 bonneville SE 3.8 L V-6. Just a couple of weeks ago i replaced the water pump, a week later My car started to die when the temperature got up to about 190. No check engine light comes on or anything it just dies on me. I had a fuel pressure test done and the pressure was stable. I went ahead and replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump relay. so i shen i had the test done he said it was not getting any spark. I went ahead and replaced the Control module and it did the same thing. so i put the old one back on it. The car will start up fine and run fine when it is cool, then when you drive it and it gets hot the car will just die on you and you have to wait for it to cool down. the last thing i was told to check was the crank position sensor and to have a test put on the control module. If anyone has any helpful advice it would be much appreciated. I just hate guessing games on trying to find out whats wrong. Thank you

I have the 3 pack ignition coil. I had the pressure test and the spark test done after the car had died, and the mechanic told me that 99% of the time it is the control module, but apperntly not in my case. I went and had the module tested today and it turned out fine so i bought the crank position sensor. If anyone has experience on changing one of these sensors that would be very helpful. Thank you for your time and replies

Please put your year and trim level in your signature.

Was the fuel pressure test done directly after the symptoms showed up? (hot, after driving and having it die).

Did you test your coils using the procedure in Techinfo? Particularly when hot, directly after the symptoms appear?

Do you have the single coil Magnavox ignition or the Delco with 3 seperate coils? If you don't understand the question, check Techinfo for the coil pack troubleshooting article. It'll help you identify what you have.

Have you tried any of this?
The PCM is located above your right front passenger'* feet. Remove the hushpanel and it'* the silver box.

Have you checked for codes using the procedure in Techinfo?
