What is this?
I was under car checking battery connections to starter and I seen a connection that had nothing connected to it.After looking around I found the connector hanging on the frame, it would be very hard to tell from pics but it is on underside of engine block.
This is the male,3 prong , in front of it is knock sensor im pretty sure.
This is the female (it is orange color)
It was avery tough spot to get pics but it is above the starter beside knock sensor. Then there is 2 round spots for a sensor and the one on the right is plugged with a cap and the one on the left is my un connected sensor.

did you follow the wire that comes out of the orange plug? You might find a plug that will work on your house. That looks like the block heater cord.

Its hard to follow as it goes into a harness of other wires. But you could be right, I never thought of that.
