Default Headlight Question

Ok, here it is. When replacing the headlights in the H-bodies that have daytime driving lights i will need to replace just my normal headlights correct? Aren't the daytime lights just your normal headlights with lower voltage going to them, or am i completley wrong? I'd like to put cool blue lights on my 99' LeSabre Limited, just to give it more of that sleek styling. With doing this when i switch over to my high beams it will go back to the normal white tone right? Not sure what to do here, so any help would be much appreciated.

The daytime running lights are the same as your lo-beams. I do not believe the voltage changes in them, but I've never thrown a meter on them to find out.
