Default Blower motor running with car off.

I have been having some problems with my battery being dead after a few days of not driving my car. I don't have the electronic shocks and I do not have any other acessorys except my radar detector but I didn't think it would pull that much power to run my battery down. I was out side a couple of nights ago and the blower motor just came on. No keys in the car or anything. I have been having some problems with the AC controls so I pulled the dash apart and unpluged the control unit, but the motor just kept running. I started pulling fuses but couldn't find any that would turn off the blower motor. I ended up getting under the hood and unpluging the fan. But now I don't have any AC, defrost or heater and I really need the defrost some mornings. I am lost on what could be wrong except for maybe a short somewhere but really have no clue on where to start looking.

You must have electronic climate control... You need a new blower control module.

sorry, I do not have ECC it is the manual with the three dials. I think I found out the problem though, the relay for the blower was stuck open. I didn't think of the relay because I wasn't aware the relay had a constant power supply, I thought it ran off the ignition, but it is the just the relay switch that is ran off the ignition.

thanks
Mike

Was the blower running in fast speed? Remove the fast speed relay? I think the fast speed relay bypasses the resistor pack applying full potential (batt 12v) to blower. Not real familiar with manual climate controls, just throwing out ideas, thoughts.
