Default Gauge Cluster Help... Tried Cleaning connecions+Ground buss.

Hey guys since I got the battery issue taken care of back to the gauges being shitty.

Sunday when the battery was dead the gauges came to life. after a new battery the next day they stopped working. Today we got the problem fixed and On a quick trip to the gas station the gauges we're working. Right now like normal I still only have the speedo and the tach. I do not know what to do now. I've cleaned the connections behind the gauge cluster, I cleaned the ground buss. I smelt for burnt wires. I don't know what to go on now. Help! I'm sinking

what DOESN'T work?

does the compass and DIC light up?

so only the temp, oil pressure, and boost gauge aren't working?

which connectors did you clean?

Compass
Oil pressure gauge
gas gauge
temp gauge
boost gauge :(

they don't light up

we unplugged and cleaned the wire harnesses and the other smaller ones.

Have you checked for a fuse and cleaned the ground buss at the driverside floorboard?

When I had a similar problem with a '93 - no amount of cleaning solved the problem. Resoldering connections on the boards, paying particular attention to where the larger parts are mounted, and the connections between boards took care of the problem.
