Daytime Running Lights Resistor need help with pictures!
Hi,
My daytime running lights are not working on my 97 SE bonneville. I am looking for the resistor that people have mentioned on the boards and I am not sure what I am looking at. The first pictures is just to show you that the PCM has been removed. The second pictures shows what I am thinking is the resistor. Am I correct? If so how do I test it?
What I believe is the resistor:
The mess of wires where I can't find anything else that looks like a resistor
You guys have saved me a ton of money and thanks in advance!

In your second picture that appears to be the connector that leads to and from the resistor. The actual resister itself is the white rectangular brick.
Here are some pictures from my car with the white resistor highlighted.
Location of resistor
Connector of the DRLs (mine is unhooked by the way)

If you want a resistor..I'll gladly send you mine for cost of shipping. I never intend on having DRL'* in my car again. Was 100% working when I unhooked it.

Sorry guys, just wanted to practice a bit and make him feel more welcome...good point though.
In case you didn't figure it out, he asked if it would work for his 96 SE and I told him it'd even work for any year from 96-99.
