Tail Light Failure Indicator Allways On DIC
I have checked the lamps for operation and correct part numbers and thay are all good. Is there a way to check the system or disable the indicator?

I cursed my taillamp sensor for weeks until I found out a license plate light was out. I periodically try to buy my taillamp sensor a hot fudge sundae to make up for my verbal abuse, but it still will have none of that (they're rather sensitive, apparently). So I wind up eating it.

If the sensor is telling you something other than tail lamp... pull and check all bulbs in the area it'* mentioning. Corrosion etc could trigger it.

Good point, Bill! Even if a lamp base looks clean give it a scrub on some sandpaper or if no sandpaper is available, just scrub it on the cement floor. I've even had brand new bulbs that needed that to make them work right.
