do you have the FSM for your year? the pinout will be the same from 92-95, and different from 96-99, and different from 00+.. so you need to get someone with the year IP you are installing to get that data. I have the exact pinout in my FSM.. but it will be different from yours.. so that won't help any.. but I know the FSM has the data you will need.

i will have to get the factory sevice manual for my year, and the schematic for the 99 modle year, because that is the year that the donner IP is coming from, james dean, what kind of specific probs are you experiencing, once i get my hands on both schmatics and adapt the 99 SSEi panel to my 92 SE, i will have a firm grasp on what each wire'* function is and ill be able to answer your questions, ill keep you updated,

thanks for the fast responces,
nickyyyyyy

the IP from a 92SSEi , will be the same as a 95SSEi.. However, the 99SSEi cluster will be different than the 95SSEi. So, basically you need someone with a FSM for your year. Murdock [drifter420] has a FSM on CD for '95 I believe.. you may want to hit him up.

not true

i havent plugged a 92 cluster into my 95, but i know they are physically different. the 92 has 3 buttons, trip, setup and mode, while the 95 only has 2, trip and mode. im not saying it wont work, cuz i have never tried, just saying they are different.

the 92 might have the rear steer also

whoops.. guess I was under the impression with the '96 they switched to the one button compass. Guess that maybe there is going to be a different correlation between the two.
