HELP!!!!! Electrical Problems
While driving my 1998 Bonneville SE (V6, 3800) about 35 mph, my entire car shut down, no power, no juice to anything. The car coasted to a stop, and after a couple of minutes power was restored (not by anything I had done), and it started and drove fine.
Over the next couple of days my voltage meter would vary between 10 and 14 volts, and the car cuts out more frequently. No engine light comes on, no codes are given. Am I looking at an alternator problem????? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, it'* Electrical, but I doubt it'* the Alternator. Start at the Battery remove/clean/reconnect the terminals. Look at the connection to the Starter and trace the ground wire connections. It sounds more like dirty/corroded terminals.

I agree with the old guy 100%. Clean EVERY end of EACH connection to your Battery. Follow them to all power and ground points. Remove them, clean them, and apply dielectric grease to each connection.
