Scenario: my Aurora'* power sunroof is tilted open. I close it by pushing the rocker switch backwards. Instead of sealing closed (like normal), it shuts and then starts sliding to full open... all while I am holding the switch down. When it opens completely the gears grind for a second or two before the motor stops. Same problem when it slides closed (with the rocker switch pressed forward)... it goes all the way and continues to tilt open if I don't let up on the switch at precisely the right instant.

It seems obvious that the mechanism suddenly doesn't know when to stop the window & motor. A bad relay somewhere, right? But if so, what and where? This issue just started yesterday, but could be (and I'm actually hoping it is) related to previous problems I've had with the expected opening and closing.

Ideas?
