eprom programming
As the name states, I am in the process of doing a little eprom programming. I have talked to drifter420, and he took a look at the schematics, and said I would be able to do it. So, now I need to know a little information.
1) Are the eproms in OBDII systems erasable/reuseable? and what about the OBDI systems?
2) What funtions are controlled by the ECU in 87-91? 92-95? 96-99? and I am not even going to attempt to look at the 00+, due to there being just waaaay too many things controlled.
3) Is anyone willing to donate an ECU [broken or not, all I will need is the eprom from it], for some studies by me?
4) What are some of the values that could and/or should be changed for a little increase in power or whatever? This question would apply to any generation, but I think a different answer would apply to each generation.

Went on over to rat shack.. They have some, but not all the parts I need. They have the caps, diodes, transistors, resistors, circuit board, etc.. all the basic [if you will] supplies. but not the advanced stuff like the 74HC157, and some other misc stuff. Does anyone know of a computer specialty store which would have these things? i've searched ebay, and all I come up with are schematics, and places which sell computers, and computer components.

are you serious? holy crap hell yeah! drifter and I were talking about doing that, to change a couple of variables to increase power. i have to decide right now what is more important, either getting my car running, or trying to make money. I am leaning a little more towards making money. Let me make sure I can find all the parts, and how much it will cost.
Damemorder: thanks man, that catalog is HUGE! and its free! ah i love free things.
