I'm not a big fan of Bosch any more. Their plugs and O2 sensors last about 5 minutes in our cars. I think it'* the heat that kills them. Heat is also a known killer of alternators. If you go with a Bosch rebuild, you better get a warranty.

What about an AC Declo rebuild if such a thing exists..As soon as i saw the Bosch logo i though "ohh man i already had to pull them crapp plugs and wires out of my car, whats next? monthly alternators?"

ya know MOS with the 24v system you could split it into normal 12 for the car, and 12 for just the audio.... That could be very cool. Headlights will dim with ANY size alt, so the alt may be fine. My old 180w amp would dim lights greatly even. Get the voltage checked on the car when it'* running off the alt, and that will tell if you need to replace it. Just one audio amplifier likes yours is fine for the stock alt, which is pretty beefy even for a stock one. You may have a bigger one as well with the SSEi.

Ive got a digital tester, im gunna test it out tomorrow, Charging volts, and what the battery holds once its shut off.
