Without digging into the circuit in the FSM, (using the owner'* manual only right now), check fuse 20 to the left and above the brake pedal (squeeze the two metal tabs to rotate it down and remove the cover). Should be a 10 amp fuse, and not blown.

If that one is good, you need to remove the passenger side hushpanel, above your passenger'* feet. There are 3 screws? on the trailing edge, and a nut way up by the firewall. After it'* out, you'll see another fuse/relay panel at the base of the A-pillar. Fuse 1 is a 10amp fuse for your A/C Programmer.

If both of these fuses are good, post back here, and I'll dig the circuit out of my car in the driveway in the bitter frigid freezing cold for you.

Default i checked the fuses

I checked the fuses and they are both good. I couldnt get the blower motor to work a couple of weeks ago so I ran a toggle switch to it. It was working fine, heat and air both blew cold. Since th display went out on the ECC when I flip the toggle switch it blows out hot air. I tried turning the temp down but it doesnt do anything. Let me know what I should try next. Thanks

sounds like a blower control module (bcm). easy enough to replace, check the jy'* for a cheap one. it is located underneath the maxi fuse panel in the engine compartment, on the firewall.

Ok i finally figured out what the bcm looked like and got a new one. put it in and still no display on the ECC. Bought a new ECC from junkyard, and still no display. Is there a Maxi fuse or relay somewhere i might be missing? Any suggestions?

I wonder if anything else quits working? Power door locks quit?

I had a funny problem with a 93 where the ECC lost control and went into defrost default vacuum and turned on the compressor. But blower switch worked on my manual air conditioning. The power door locks also cut out at the same time.

I figured out it probably was a ground problem. If you're in a moist climate or cold and snow where it gets tracked in and the carpet stays wet.... I just went back and see you're in Florence. You just had a heavy snow last week and ice and snow this week. Maybe the moisture got to buss.

Others may have suggestions but I'd try some impact and pushing around to see if a corroded ground buss makes contact.
