Default my power locks open and close 60 x'* a minute and wont stop?

i replaced my locks on both doors on my 88 sse and now i was driving for a day until i hit the power lock button on my door to lock all the doors and the locks were just jumping up and down very fasr about 60 times a minute.. no bull $h!t, they were locking and unlocking even when i pulled over and turned off the car.. i could.nt believe it. i had to dissconnect the battery to make them stop. when i connected the battery everythimg went find. all doors locked and closed. so i hit the`alarm button to open them and it worked fine. i got in and drove and all was well untill i got out the car and hit the power lock button on mydoor.. then it all started again...untill i dissconnected the battery.. now i lock all doors manually then arm the`alarm..so far like this no problems..

I'd start by disconnecting the alarm and remote first. You have a short or wrong connection somewhere in the wiring that is cycling the locks. I'm guessing it'* in the alarm circuits.

Or...some creature from the underworld has decided that your Bonnie is a good place to manifest it'* energy into the world of the living. (Have you pissed off any dead spirits lately? ) You can try sacrificing a chicken in a voodoo rite to appease the creature...or a bucket of KFC if you're squeamish.

If the alarm was pre-exisiting..I'd be looking at the new locks you put in.

Sounds to me like the common denominator is the switch. If I read correctly, everything worked fine until you used the switch on the door. I personally would be looking in that area.

Did you see what happened when you used the switch on the passenger side?
