Default Boost Gauge

I have a autometer carbon fibre boost gauge that I still need to install, I was wondering which wire I connect my power source to for the boost gauge backround( 12v) I would like to tap into the dimmer swicth wire so when I dim my dash lights i can dim the gauge at the same time, If anybody knows were this wire is located and what colour it is would be very greatly appreaciated, my bonnie is a 95 ssei! Thanks
