Default twilight sentinel

My car (1993 SLE) has no twilight sentinel. I found a car (1994 SLE) that does have twilight sentinel. How hard would this be to put in my car?

I believe it would require some major electrical surgery & adaptation, but I could be wrong. Maybe it'* easier than I think, rip out the old & install the new?

Is that where the headlight and parks come on at night automatically?

yeah thats the auto headlights...

i had those in my Electra Park Avenue, i tore apart the dash once to check out the system because i had to replace the light sensor...it did not look to complicated...just a simple relay light system..., it does require alot of dash surgery, there should already be a place on thop of the dash to hold the sensor...but makes sure if you do it, when you go to get the sensor out of the JY vehicle, that you disassemble everything and watch very carefully how things go together and then when you tear apart your dash, you know what you are up against...there will be splicing and such required im pretty sure, make sure to get ALL the wires from the donor car to make sure everything will be alright. Should not be too hard, but the dash will be a PITA.

HAVE FUN!

Chris...

Be wary.. besides the possible missing components, the switches are different in each year until 1996. The connectors may be different as well. Starting in 1995 the connectors were definately standardized.

Um, I'll stick with my old headlights. Thanks anyway, though.

2 relays and a circuit board I think are all you really need.
