Not sure of which box its in. Doesnt seem to be alot of rhyme of reason with them. The covers have the purposes lister under the top. If you have an ohmmeter, it'* alot easier to check the top of each fuse, then to pull each. There is a pulling tool in the box under the rear seat, if you dont.

I'm only seeing the title of this thread, seem to be missing the first post by the member having the problem. Therefore, this is aimed at the individual with the '04 GXP.
Other than the gauges, does anything else on the cluster work (indicators for signals, high beams, etc)? Do you have messages that appear on your DIC that show when doors are open, etc? What about backlighting at night? How about the gear indicator, does it indicate the correct gear?

Not sure that it'* a fuse just yet, this will depend on answers to my previous questions. FYI however, the fuse involved is in the rear fuse block. It'* a 10A and is #30 (IP Fuse). If this is blown, the light in your ignition switch around the key won't work, nor will the Head-Up Display (if equipped).

Dash cluster issues
Hi there again. I am the original post for this thread. My issue is that my gauges are unreliable. Speedo sometimes won't go back to zero and just be stuck at let'* say 30 mph so you have to add that for the actual speed. The fuel gauge is useless never know how much is in there so we have to use mileage. Just recently the temp gauge started to do the same. The only things that work is the tach, oil, volt, and odometer. I am having trouble trying to locate the grounds to clean them off. Do I need to pull back the carpet on the driver side and drop the blower motor on the passenger to locate these? And while I am at this the gear indicator lights on the shift lever quit working and as the same with some backlight on the radio. Is there any solution for this?

Do you know if anyone has ever removed the instrument cluster? There are two Dock-N-Lock connectors on the back that mate with a male counterpart in the dash. The first thing I would try is removing the cluster and re-installing it. There are five clips that hold it into the dash. Make sure that it is firmly seated and all the retaining clips are engaged. Three are across the top and two on either side at the bottom. If I can find any pictures, I'll post them for you.

Here is a photo. I've circled the top three clips in yellow. You can't see the two bottom clips, but they are the same style. You need to push the tab to either the left or right (depending on which one it is) to release. When you see it up close, it will make sense. Sometimes when the cluster is put in it doesn't seat quite right. Your problems MAY be because of this. It'* certainly the best starting point.

As for the lights in the radio and the shifter, there were posts a long time back by a previous member, harofreak00, that showed how to repair these.
Unfortunately, the search feature and I aren't seeing eye to eye and I can't find it. I'll keep looking and post the thread link if I run across it.
