Custom Coolant Temp Gauge
Hey guys, i was at the scrap yard yesterday and saw a neat temp gauge in an older jag. Sadly my LeSabre has no gauges except for checking the speed. Now to get to my problem. I have the gauge with me and it is in great condition, but i am not too sure how to go about the installation. The gauge has a positive terminal, a negative terminal...and also a red wire that has white stripes in it.
Just a couple of questions for the pros
1. Where is the coolant temp sensor located?
2. Will this gauge from the jag be able to function on my lesabre?
3. How would i go about this installation?
Thanks in advance.

Best of luck.
You need to know what the Jag uses for a sender and what ohm range (if it uses ohms) it works with.
Then you need to compare that to your gauge.
