Default changing the headlights in an 01 to silverstars

Alright i have a 01 se bonneville(surprising huh) well anyways i was thinking about replacing the stock bulbs(both high and low beams) with some SilverStars(the white ones) . Well when i look at the headlights the oustside of the casing seems to be plastic and i dont know about the reflectors. So im wondering if i do put in some SS will they melt the plastic or deform the casing?

definitely not, silverstarts arent any hotter than standard halogens, they r just a different color, it says on their own site that silvertsars, cool blues, and halogen x-tras all have the same wattage and lumens

thats good to know. Cuz if they did and did melt the plastic i would of hit the headlights with a hammer and turned them in to the insurance company and said someone broke my headlights.

I've had Silverstars in for over a year with no lens problems. Definitely worth the investment.
