How do i know if my 92 Bonneville SE came with a key FOB?
Hello everyone,
I bought a 1992 Bonneville Se about a month ago, It didnt have a Key FOB with it, Bought it at the auction. Now how do i know if this Model came with a FOB? If it did come with one whats the number for replacement,And how do i get it programed to my car? Please help.
Thanks,

RPO codes will tell you if your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry. AU0 in my RPO code indicates "lock control; remote entry". You will find the RPO codes on the spare tire cover.

If you find it, you're in luck. However, if you _don't_ find it, you might still have that option, since my '93 SSEi has keyless entry but does not have AU0 on its RPO sticker. (I just went out to the garage and checked again to be sure.) That might be (I'm guessing here) because it was standard rather than optional on the SSEi; I dunno.
In a worst-case scenario, it'* not all that hard to add an aftermarket keyless entry system; it requires considerably fewer connections than an alarm system or remote starter.

We have instructions in TechInfo on how to program it once you've got one; you can do it yourself with a paper clip.
