How hard is it to remove the oil pressure guage? I hope the tech wont take 4 hours to remove it and replace it if that is what is bad....I am hoping it is the guage

The gauge doesn't come out. It'* the oil pressure sender/switch that needs to be replaced. The job takes less than 15 minutes and the switch is about $45.

Just an update on this.
The drivers info is not coming on anymore about low oil pressure since I changed the oil sending unit, BUT the guage is still not moving, when you turn the car off it stays in 1 place etc...so I assume the guage is bad too? How hard is it to replace the guage itself?

Its not a huge deal, if you keep the car maintained you won't have any pressure problems and the DIC will alert you if there is a low pressure problem so its kind of a personal thing but I wanted all my gauges to work so I replaced the sensor but it is up to you
