seat control wiring schematic?
been a long time since i've been in here, good to be back. a while ago i got rid of a 95 ssei parts car and i kept the seats and controls. i was looking into how to wire up the seats in a hot rod i've been working on. the diagram i have has nothing about the seat controls. has anyone ever done this before? is there a diagram with the stuff i need? any help would be appreciated.

i managed to get the mororized parts of the seats working but the pnumatic parts don't do anything. i don't have the air line between the seats hooked up so could there be a pressurs switch that stops it from working if there is no pressure?

If you are able to get someone who is parting out an SSE or SSEi with the seats, you can have them cut out the wiring harness for the seats. You'll only need to wire up the power and grounds and you'll have the stock connectors for easy install.
And yes, you need the air line, which they could get you as well.

isn't the compressor built into the seat? if i am remembering right the seat makes a buzzing noise when you change the lumbar settings and the main compressor never worked in my old bonneville but the seats still did.

There is one compressor for both seats, located under the passenger seat.
For the seat wiring, if you cut it at the driver'* door area, then the harness will be complete. There would have also been an air line in there with white ends that plug in under the seats going from passenger to driver. I seem to remember when mine came undone under my driver'* seat, I lost lumbar in both seats.
I am trying to get a hold of a friend who might have a complete seat wiring harness with the air hose right now and will let you know if I find it.
