95 bonne headlight switch wiring diagram
Hi guys,
Great site, looks like theres a lot of great info here! I have yet another question about the headlight switch issues in the Bonnevilles. (if this has already been answered, please provide me a link).
My friends light switch burned, and he got another one from a later year Bonne to replace it. When I went to do the install, his OEM connector split apart in my hand, and now I have no clue which wire goes where. Obviously the new connector is no help, as its from a 96, and his car is a 95. Does anyone know where I can find the wiring diagram or connector view for a 95 Bonne without auto lamps? I need to see the actual location of each wire in the connector and the color of each wire.
Thanks in advance for the help!

I swear, some days I've had nearly every non-water coming into the car issue possible.

What I found in using the newer connector was that every wire went to the same cavity on the connector. Some were different colors and larger gauge, but they all go to the same cavities. If you cut, solder and heat shrink them one by one, it'* pretty straight forward.

thanks for the reply. i did some searching and found the proper pin out chart on this site. i just cant believe that connector was so burned and fragile that it fell apart in my hand. piece of crap.

I don't think the conector was at fault. Likely the switch super heated it (we've seen a bunch of 95'* that nuked that way) and the pins in the connector lost their tinning from the heat. Which causes further resistance and more heat.
To my knowledge no one that swapped the connector and switch had a reoccurance of the problem.

I'm having the same problem with the headlight switch & connector. The connector just crumbled. Bought a new switch, cannot find a connector anywhere! MIERZE mentioned a pin out chart somewhere on this site...I seached but couldn't find it.
Could anyone point me in the right direction, or tell me the color and location of each wire?
Thanks!!!
