Has anyone figured out how to keep the low beams lit while the high beams are on? Could someone please explain to me how to do this on a 1990 LE?

At least on the 92-99'*, it'* not really possible in a practical sense. It would take too much modification, and the stock wiring won't support the currant load.

You'd have to get creative with a new standalone circuit using a couple relays, and a new source to feed the low beams when the high-beam relay cuts power to them.

It IS possible to run your fogs with factory wiring while in high-beam though. That makes more of a difference than anything.

I did it differently on the 93, but it doesn't mean it won't work.

JC Whitney sells a pre-packaged kit to keep all 4 lights on during HI beam operation.

I can't believe they get up to $78 for a kit. All you need is 1 relay, a fuseholder and some decent wire. Do it right and find a waterproof relay socket, fuse holder and the butt connectors that you can heat shrink.

If you can gather the parts, we can give you the factory wires you'll need to splice into.

According to my 95 manual, you'll still only need one relay but I'd like to verify that with a 93 to be sure. The idea is to have the voltage to the HI beam wire trigger the relay to supply battery voltage to the low beams. Simple.

Shopping list:
1 SPDT automotive relay
1 relay socket or 4 insulated crimp on female connectors
10 feet or so of 14 gauge wire
1 fuse holder (butt connectors if necessary)
1 15 amp fuse
2 crimp on ring connectors (to connect to power distribution block and ground)
