Default Bad Day: Lumbar Support Not Inflating

Lets see how many things can go wrong today?
(3rd item)

Noticed today that none of the 3 "air pockets" for lumbar support work anymore. They were working fine when I used them a few days ago. Tried both seats, nothing.
I hear the motor working, but nothing.

Is it possible they sprung a leak in the hoses somewhere? And if so, how/where would I look for it? Is the comp under the passangers seat? Since none work, where is the junction that would supply air to all 6 "air pockets".

Thanks

PS-This is also for my 97... I had so many things go wrong today w/ it.
Brake light out, trunk not opening, and lumbar supports not working.
Not to mention....... low washer fluid... hehe

I was under the impression they had seperate motors. Do the bolsters work?

The sides of the seat back. They kind of hug you. I think middle left button works for them.

Oh.... Bolsters... aka "Hip Huggers" hehe
Now that you mention it.... I don't believe they work either.

I don't exactly know where the compressor(*) are, some upside down with a flashlight research might be required.

I'll do some upside down flashlight research tomorrow....
In my 91 I remember it was under the passanger'* side.

Compresser is under the passenger seat. Relay center (computer) is under your seat, but isn't suspect. If the compresser is working, you have a leak. You'll need some help tracking that down. Hire a button-pusher.

Ok... went and explored today under the seat.

Couldn't find a leak, couldn't feel any air moving. We did think we heard a "hissing" sound after the motor had been on a few seconds.

Here are some shots from under the passangers seat, maybe someone might be able see/think of something.

I believe the aircompressor is the black box at the top of the screen. The skinny blue/green/yellow wires/tubes coming from it I believe lead into the lumbar supports.
I don't know what the much thicker blue & green tubes are, but with testing we think they are part of moving the seat around.

Tighter shot under the air compressor

Another shot.... I believe the black box at the top controls the heated seats.

That'* the tubes coming from what I believe is the compressor in the top left.

This is under the passangers seat closest to the center console.

I'm going to see if I can find some "fog" or maybe a smoker (really prefer something that doesn't smell) to see if I can "see" air movement when I turn the seats on to indicate a leak.

Will, you mentioned the control center for the relays is under the drivers seat.... does that control what tubes get open/closed when the buttons are pressed?

On my 93, the control box is under the driver'* seat. Not sure about yours. It'* just a set of relays inside. I can pull it and shoot a pic of it if you'd like.

When you activate the 'love handles' or lumbars, something under the passenger seat better be vibrating. If not, you have an electrical problem, or the compressor is shot. If all the 'air' functions (lumbar/love) are out, it'* either the compressor, or the control box.
