Driver'* door trunk pop button
Anyone have a wiring schematic for where the trunk pop button switch wires run and terminate. I paid the dealer to fix it years ago but it never really worked right and i want to fix it myself so that i know its done right? Anybody have any experience with this?
EDIT** I have tried the button with the Valet switch in either position..nothing helps...

I'd say bad switch or bad Trunk Release Relay

alright, right hand ip fuse box, fuse 2 (15A) , orange wire to relay "D" (same fuse box), blk/white wire out of relay goes to lid release actuator, then to ground. the other side is the ground start. Ground goes to the park/neutral switch, then to the lid release switch,(driver door) then to the valet switch, then to the relay mentioned above.
easy test would be to get access to the blue wire on the valet switch and put it to ground. trunk actuator should engage. if it doesn't, your looking at power (fuse 2), relay (D), or maybe even trunk lid actuator.

you could just pop the switch out, strip the wires, touch the wires together and it should pop if not, then wiring is probably broken somewhere.

ok..does the keyfob run through the park neutral swtich? i think i tried to pop it one day in drive and it would not let me. i had to put it in park to even hit the keyfob pop. I will try shorting the switch wires this afternoon and get back to you guys
