Pretty much all interior bulbs
OK, so I have an '01 SLE. When I bought it, I found out that the cigarette lighter and all of the interior bulbs (reading, courtesy, illuminated entry, trunk) didn't work. The cigarette lighter was a blown fuse... changed it, no problem. I checked the fuse for the rest of the lights and that was good still... but no light. It may be something else, but I want to change the bulbs anyway.
I can change the trunk and courtesy bulbs no problem. But I can't figure out how to get at the bulbs for the overhead reading lights. Any suggestions?
(If there'* a thread elsewhere, can someone point me to it?)

I saw other threads about checking the relays and stuff. You may want to search for other threads that talk about that.

fuses
I did what you arent supposed to do and i put in a bigger fuse to see if thats what it was. it still blew out. it was very nice having lights for a little while. Do you think it could be one shorted bulb ruining everything else?

Ya, I didn't like saying it either. That'* just one of those things that'* going to be a pain. But then again, you might get lucky and find it. Can't think of any obvious places to start looking. Did you mke any changes to the car, installing a gauge or radio or speakers or anything like that? Try pulling each socket and inspecting it for damage.
