Default Pass. Window Issue

Today I tried my front passenger window and got nothing. When I got home I tried it again a few times and finally it worked but not as it should. There were no strange noises and the speed was as it should be, but the window went down from the driver switch (it'* actually a new switch) but would not go up from there. It went up with the passenger switch. Then it was the opposite, down with the passenger switch and up with the driver switch. It went on like this, alternating as described. At one time or another both up and down on each switch worked but not at the same time...

Any thoughts?

Ok, so seems no one really has any idea on what'* going on with this window, just as I don't either. Would it be a more realistic idea that this has nothing to do with the switches or electrical and is just a window motor going bad? Do they tend to sometimes stick/work off and on before they stop totally?

Today when I tried the window nothing happened at first from either of the switches, but when I got out and gave the door a good smack on the outside the window came down.

The windows have an interesting circuit. When operating the passenger side from the driver'* switch the power has to go through the normally closed portion of the passenger switch & visa-versa. In other words both switches have to be working properly. If you put a brand new switch in the driver'* side then the passenger switch is bad. (If it'* an electrical problem)
