Blinker not blinking
My left turn signal stopped blinking a while back after the ditch incident. It just stays on solid. I figured it was the front drivers side bulb, as that is what the DIC said. So I replaced it. It lights up now, but still stays on solid. Right signal works fine. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? I feel like an idiot manually blinking.

punkrulz fixed this on his car by re-inserting the bulb in the socket. While you are there, I'd suggest pulling it and cleaning all the sockets and whatnot. Should help some. Mine did that to me, today, too. Hit a bump and it was fine, and I can't reproduce it, as of yet.

I've found the contacts get corroded easily and whenever I pull something apart I put a little dielectric grease it in. This way it'll never happen again.

When I pulled the bulb is was actually perfectly clean in the socket (unlike my tail lights) but I am having a bigger problem now. The left blinker is coming on solid with the headlight, park lights, or both. I am still going to try and clean it out...but does this indicate anything?

It definatly sounds like theres something else up...except a small correction. The left blinker isn't actually turning on with the headlights, just the indicator on the dash. :?
So how should I go about tracking this down? I have a voltmeter...

Well, I got it blinking again and the DIC shutup. It seems there was a small metallic strip inside the socket that got pushed down too far. I pulled it up with some needle nose pliers, and then it began blinking again. Only thing is it blinks more slowly then the right side now...I can live with that for now, it'* better then manual blinking....

If that metallic strip was shorting it out, that would explain why it is slower. You probably damaged the switch. Replacing it would fix it, I think. Although I could be wrong.. but that'* what it sounds like.

Crap. I figured it was fixed, but now something new is happening. When I turn the headlights on, the front left blinker won't come on at all, the rear stays on solid (when I put the lever down), and the indicator on the dash is solid all the time if the headlights are on. Is this something to do with the switch?
Everything works fine if the headlights are off...
