Default 99' bonneville SE rims/tires question

Hey, I've got a question about tire/rim size..

on my 99' ville SE, will a 18 x 17.5 size rim with a 5X114.3/5X112 bolt pattern, 40 offset
on 235/40/18 tires fit with no rubbing/ minimum performance impairment?

also...what kind of work would need to be done on my car to fit a bigger rim/tire, if any?

I've searched some on this site, but i am not that great with computers, so ANY help at all would be appreciate, even if you can just point me in the right direction to read about this topic myself! Thanks in advance!

114.3 is the worst thing you can do to the rims, hubs, lugs, and your car:
