Default ink fun

ok, so im a screen printer and i do it part time with a buddy of mine, anyways, since he is in college and doesnt have a car, i pick him up and we go to work, so tonight when i dropped him off, i look over and on his back is some red screen printing ink and sure enough there on my passenger seat is a big old smear of ink. it sucks because now i have to dry the ink (with a heat gun) and then use a special type of liquid to get it out. so now im all pissed off. cause i dont work til next monday and now i have this red ink on my seat. i was gunna take a pic but my phone was out of batteries so maybe tomorrow..

your phone was out of batteries, meaning they are not rechargeable, meaning you throw some AAA'* in it every day haha sorry

that sucks you have to live with that for a while, but at least you will be able to get it out

Y'all don't use that citrus based cleaner to get rid of ink? I don't remember the brand name, but when I was screen printing, we used that stuff to clean screens (dry or wet), clean off messed up labels, or take the ink of off dried labels. it would eat anything ink related, but was not poisonous and smelled like oranges. (Never got brave enough to taste it or test the non-toxic claims)

yeah, im not sure on the stuff we use, it definetly doesnt smell like oranges, more like a paint thinner, do you think it'll ruin my seat or do you think it will be fine? haha, yeah today i totally forgot about it and my friend sat in the seat and got the ink all over his shirt (it doesnt dry until heated) haha, so today i dried it with a heat gun

anyways heres a pic:
