Default washer LEDs

Im thinking of getting those LED jets for my front bumper. I want to find the lowest profile dark coloured jet I can, because I only want to see them when theyre on. There are 2 pairs on the front so I am considering a white one on the inside pair that wil go on with the running lights and an amber pair on the outside that will go on with the turn signals. All the ones I have found are chrome and look too ricey. My bumper jets are disconected because the system was removed.

I bought a couple pair of yellow streetglow LEDS for my bumper washers and they looked pretty inconspicuous IMO. But that was four years ago and I ended up returning them because they were supposed to be yellow but looked orange. They're currently on clearance at https://www.streetglow.com/cgi-local.../page=anw2.htm for $7

When I had my Integra, I bought these, when they first came out (all the writing on the package was in Japanese, thats how you know for sure it'* rice). I used to get pulled over all the time for them, they were "hyperwhite," cops used to say they were blue. I got tickets, so when I was working at a body shop we made a custom hood, not including washers of any kind.

Well I bought a pair of the street glow ones off ebay, white and yellow. When they arrive Ill see what they look like and how to mount them. If they dont look they way i want ill just hook them up to my computer or something. I was originally thinking of those license plate screws with leds. but my plate holder doesnt have the top screw holes. I bought some 5mm white leds as well so Ill try to make something if this doesnt work out.

Plurr, do you have a picture of your headlight leds?

here you go, I have 2 sets, one set in the actual headlights, and one set in the top of the corners.(I do not have pictures with the leds in the top corners, since i shot the pictures right when I installed the first pair, the second pair was installed later on because I found them on sale) You can also have them blink when you set your alarm system.

hey those are pretty bright, im doing the same thing with my headlights only im going to use a 12 inch led strip. I was going to go blue, but I want to see what pure white would look like in contrast to the headlight bulbs. I was thinking of hooking the headlight leds up to the parking light so theyre always on. They will be pretty bright, do you think that It would be illegal? The LEDs would be the same colour as HID lighting, just not as bright as a headlamp.

i bet that would look pretty good, I cannot tell you if you will get in trouble for it. Not sure of the laws over there. I only run the leds in the parking lot or when I'm creeping around, never driving on the road. Never been pulled over or talked to about them, but they are not super strict on lighting laws over here.

I have no idea what the laws are here. I emailed the ministry but they gave me some useless info about trailers. My friend had a sunfire with blue side markers that stayed on all the time and he didnt get asked about them once, he drove it almost everynight for 2 years. I dont see a lot of rice around here so maybe theyre a little more leanient.
