Wheel clear coat repair, refinish
I have a set of aluminum wheels that the clear coat is bubbling up in several spots, on all 4 of the wheels. I was told to try paint stripping gel to remove the clear coat. Think this would work? I'm sure it could also be done by sanding them for several years. Thoughts, suggestions, products? Looking to stay under $50 for all 4.

Hmm...that looks like a good kit but I don't want to spend $153 for these wheels. Looks like I could just get some of the stripper and clear coat for about $40 and then I could probably use a Flitz or Mothers drill thing to polish. I'm not going for ultra bling.
I wonder if the stripper would do anything to the parts of the wheel that are powder coated (well, it looks like powder coat to me)? Not that I would mind if it were gone, just don't want it to turn some funny color.
