In the Bonnie. We're gonna clean it tomorrow. Gonna take it out, pressure wash it, then let it dry for a day or two. Good idea? Anybody out there could give me some advice, maybe first-hand accounts? Thanks again all

I dunno if this is just some local junk but the Target over here sells this stuff called "Folex." Its like on the bottom shelf of the cleaning isle but maaan this stuff is awesome! I've used it for all my stains for like a year now and seen some pretty impressive stuff. I took the black out of a cigarette burn, 3 week old (yes 3 weeks) ink from a car seat, and mustard from my carpet. Crazy stuff. See if you've got it there. Its a plain white bottle with a spray nozzle.

As mentioned in a previous thread, the interior smelled swampy. I wouldnt pressure wash the carpet as the water pressure from the garden hose is fine. Pick a day that will be mostly sunny to aid in drying because it'* not too easy to vacuum the water out of the padding. It has a tendancy to pull apart and become deformed.

Clean the floor pans while you're at it, check for leaks, all that goot stuff.

50% simple green + 50% water + a carpet scrubbing brush [not wire] + time = super clean carpet. I practically lived in the back seat of this car when I was 3, so spillage was very common. You could basically say that the carpet was a dumping ground for my crap, but everything came right out with a little scrubbing... and these stains weren't 3 weeks old
