I ordered some taillight tint from Rvinyls and they came today, so i decided to put them on, who wouldn't?
This is how they turned out, 60% tint:

was it easy and cheap to do it yourself?... cuase i was planning on just taking my bonne to get the taillights tinted at the shop

Looks great on your Bonne. I have a 97 too, I wish mine were black though.
