Default Mud Guards

Anyone with a 2000 up Bonneville - have you installed mud flaps/guards? I find with the design of the body, I get a natural overspray from the front wheels on the bottom my rear doors and I expect over time this is going to result in pits and scratches? Has anyone had this experience and I am not even sure putting mud flaps (which I hate the look of) will even solve the problem. My prior Bonneville was a 97 and I had small flaps on it and never had a scratch.

Thanks

Check out my CarDomain pics from my signature below and look on one of the pages to see my home made mudflaps.

Thank you. Your flaps look great and sit much lower than I expected. How did you attach them at the front? I bet you have eliminated 90% of the normal spray from the wheels.

Yes it eliminates all of the spray from the front wheels.
They extend low enough with the soft rubber extensions to just rub on hard turns but any spray hits below the rocker into the rear wheel. and at 10" wide cover the under pan also.
The front edge is wedged between the spoiler cladding and the wheelwell liner and then a single bolt thru an existing hole on one side and a new one on the other, but don't worry because it has a double skin with about 1/2" airspace in between so drill carefully but be confident.

Thanks for the details. My first job as soon as it warms up - I really like the way you have them positioned.

I appreciate the help.

2-3 weeks of snow on the ground, and that'* what my car looks like.... those small patches of snow are from me spinning them on my street...
