New gauge pod:
Here'* the first stage of a new gauge pod. Required me to learn fiberglassing. (Can be itchy stuff), and sand until ... yeah..I'm still not done sanding yet.
Started checking position
Cut hud panel and laid some fiberglass
Got the panel out of the car and did more glassing
Flip over and glass the underside
Start shaping by filling with more resin and kitty hair
It'* soooo beautiful!
Bondo time after some sanding of the glass
Hours and hours of sanding and more bondo later.....I painted it the wrong color because of not cleaning out a nozzle on the right color paint can. (can is wasted now)
Remember...this is not the finished product... only the first look and it'* painted to show me lines/issues...
(Finish your pod or play with your monkey??? your choice j/k)

I didn't want to see lines or not have it line up with the dash. As wilth all mods that I do for the interior, I aim for clean and whenever possible a stock look.
