Can you guys recommend a good caliper paint to give my car the GXP look? Also, before painting, other than removing grease/dirt from them, should they be sanded/primed/etc?

Top of this page is a sticky post about painting calipers. Been a long time since I read it, but it seemed to be very comprehensive.

VHT paint > Duplicolor paint

If you decide to take them off and use a spray paint, go with VHT and a nice clearcoat.

Just a light sanding and cleaning is really all you need.

I used Duplicolor spray paint years ago. Worked great, but seemed to get dirty quicker than the Duplicolor kit that you paint on with a brush. I did mine 2-3 weeks ago with the brush method and they haven't gotten a speck of brake dust on them, and I drive 450 miles a week. Of course I cleaned them much better this time. I also sanded the calipers with 40 grit sandpaper down to bare metal. Preparation helps a lot.

I used the G2 paint - a bit more expensive that the other ones mentioned... but I'm totally pleased with them. Kit comes with the cleaner as well. Also, if you're looking for decals for the calipers, link is listed below too:

I agree with Tracy. I used the same system and it still looks great after a year on the calipers. The calipers are easy to clean when dirty so the maintenance of the calipers is a snap.
