door trim fixerupper idea
hey all,
mother nature is our enemy when it comes to keeping our cars clean.
how do i fix my peeling/faded/spotty chrome door moldings for my 2001?
the front and back bumper are new, they were replaced when i was hit last november.
im thinking going to Pepboys and getting that chrome tape, overcutting the strips with a razor and tape over the moldings? or would that look cheesy?
what have some of you done? thanks

I think its all in the prep.
The tape will work fine if you first get the bumps and chips out.
Better yet if you can remove the trim, clean em up and re-tape them.
